Affiliate Terms and Conditions for WPGetAPI (Updraft WP Software Ltd).

By joining the WPGetAPI affiliate programme, affiliates agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Misleading advertising and coupon sites:  Misleading advertising such as suggesting access to discounted pricing that does not exist is prohibited. Undertaking SEO work to rank for coupon or discount related keywords is also prohibited. Coupon sites are prohibited from joining our affiliate programme. Commissions attached to the aforementioned referrals are not payable.
  • Direct traffic: We do not accept paid referrals from direct traffic as we are not able to track or validate the source. Referrals made in this way are invalid and commissions not payable.
  • Using your own links: Using your personal affiliate links to purchase plugins or services is strictly prohibited.
  • Accuracy: Affiliates must ensure all information shared about our plugins is accurate and up-to-date. False claims about Updraft WP Software Ltd. brands are prohibited.
  • Sales verification: We reserve the right to verify and approve sales, rejecting any referrals, for any reason at our discretion.
  • Investigations: We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity, or suspected breach of terms and conditions.
  • Ethical Marketing: You agree to use the affiliate scheme and our products in an ethical manner.
  • Domain usage: Affiliates cannot use Updraft WP Software Ltd. brand names in their domain names.
  • Termination: We reserve the right to deactivate or terminate accounts which do not comply with our terms and conditions or for any other reason at our sole discretion. If your account is deactivated or terminated, any outstanding referrals or commissions will be foregone.

Commissions and attributions:

  • Payment details: Commissions are paid in US dollars via PayPal.
  • Discount codes: Commissions are adjusted if affiliate links are used with discount codes.
  • Commission rates: Commission rates are subject to change at any time.
  • Commissions payable: Commission are paid on the initial purchase made directly via an affiliate link, and not on any subsequent orders or renewals from the same customer (unless otherwise agreed by us in writing).
  • Attribution: For a sale to be attributed to your account, the purchaser must use your affiliate link on a cookie-enabled computer. Once a purchase is finalised, it cannot be reassigned to or from affiliates.
  • Warranties: We make no warranties. We shall not be liable for any damages suffered by you. We are not responsible for loss of data, information or profits.
  • Data handling: Affiliate data, including which websites have referred visits, will be permanently deleted after 90 days in accordance with GDPR regulations.
  • Changes to terms: We reserve the right to modify terms and conditions as needed.

Agreement

  • Personal use: Affiliate agreements are non-transferable without prior written consent.
  • Legal protections: Affiliates must adhere to data protection, copyright, trade secret and other intellectual property laws.
